Crude oil production from the seven major US onshore producing
regions is forecast to rise 122,000 b/d month-over-month in June to
average 5.401 million b/d, according to the US Energy Information
Administration’s latest Drilling Productivity Report. All but 15,000 b/d of the increase is expected to come from the Permian and Eagle Ford.

The rig counts for the US and its largest drilling and production
region each gained 7 units during the week ended May 5, according to
data from Baker Hughes Inc.

The US tally of active drilling rigs increased by 13 to 870 during the week ended Apr. 28, marking the 12th double-digit rise during 15 straight weeks of gains, according to Baker Hughes Inc. data.

US exploration and production budgets are expanding for the first
time since 2014, Fitch Ratings said, adding that its analysts expect
higher US rig counts along with increased drilling and completion
spending in 2017 compared with 2016.

The seven major onshore producing regions in the US are expected to collectively increase oil output by 124,000 b/d during May to average 5.193 million b/d, according to the US Energy Information Administration’s latest Drilling Productivity Report.

The tally of active rigs in the US gained 8 units to 847 during a week
ended Apr. 13 shortened a day by the Good Friday holiday, Baker Hughes Inc. data indicated. Much of the lift was again provided by the Permian—but this time on the New Mexico portion of the basin.

The US drilling rig count jumped 21 units to 789 during the week ended Mar. 17, continuing a recent surge in a drilling rally that dates back to May 27, 2016, according to Baker Hughes Inc. data.

The US drilling rig count climbed 12 units to 768 during the week ended Mar. 10, according to Baker Hughes Inc. data.

The Baker Hughes Inc. tally of active rigs in the US gained 2 units
to 756 during the week ended Mar. 3., representing a seventh straight
week of increases as drilling activity continues to ramp up throughout
Texas.

The US drilling rig count increased a mere 3 units during the week ended Feb. 24 following 5 straight weeks of double digit gains, according to Baker Hughes Inc. data.
