SandRidge Energy Inc., Oklahoma City, has emerged from Chapter 11 having eliminated $3.7 billion in pre-petition funded debt.
The US drilling rig count jumped 11 units to 522 rigs working during the week ended Sept. 30, according to data from Baker Hughes Inc. Seven oil-directed and 4 gas-directed units began operations.
